Booklets and reports are usually multiple-page documents that are folded in half and saddle-stitched (stapled in the fold). In addition to saddle-stitching, we offer comb binding, coil binding, wire binding and tape binding.

In addition to the many finishing options listed for booklets and reports, we offer perfect binding with wraparound covers or three-hole drilling and insertion into binders for books and manuals. We also work with vendors who provide high-quality hardcover bindings.

A brochure is a simple, effective way to promote a program, project, or event on campus. We can assist campus customers with choosing a cost-effective design that complies with Illinois Identity Standards.

We can print your flyers and handouts in black-only or full-color on a wide variety of paper stocks and sizes.

Since the academic world is not yet paperless, university departments still need some paper forms. These can be printed on white or colored stock, as well as on 2, 3, or 4-part carbonless stock.

Wide format printing has expanded with both equipment and materials. We provide technical, production and creative products to complete your projects. We currently offer two types of lamination, three types of boards, grommets, easel backs, transport tubes and more than ten types of materials. We print both full color and grayscale posted in sizes up to 60" wide by any length. We also provide proofs and estimates prior to printing when requested.

DVDs are created either as a stand-alone medium for documents or to supplement a course packet, manual or other printed pieces.

Is your package too big for Campus Mail and too small for Stores & Receiving? Let Document Services deliver your small packages on campus. Small package delivery service can be scheduled on a daily or weekly basis, or arranged on an as-needed basis for a fee.

Document Services can assist customers with minor design tasks. For more extensive designs, a list of talented designers who provide their services to the university is available through Public Affairs. For customers who have designed their work, Document Services can provide additional help with files, including sizing, color adjustments and photo placement at a competitive hourly rate.

Representing yourself to the world professionally is important in landing that dream job. This is a complex product and few graphics organizations have the same level of experience in handling portfolio as Document Services. 

Document Services scans archival documents to disk, converts scanned images to editable text and saves scans as PDF files using careful scanning techniques and acid-free papers.

Document Services can proofread documents for compliance with grammatical and formatting standards by using the AP Stylebook or customer specifications. Proofreading must be specifically requested and is provided at an hourly rate.

Document Services can shred and environmentally dispose of them in a secure and sound manner.
